That's exactly what the response from government officials should have been. The danger of using the tools of the military and law enforcement in a civilian election.
If it was legit the public would have never known about papawhatever and if Trump was dirty he would have quietly bowed out early in the primary.

And yet people like to say the president has access to everything. If so then Obama would've surely known Trump and his crowd were dirty Russian colluders and presented evidence before the election to insure Hillary won. Instead we got the tape of Trump talking dirty that really didn't shock that many people. Now a tape of him saying that he was a married man and didn't do that sort of thing would've shocked everyone!
