They could change the work load now without a labor manager. They will not agree and it will be settled months after if at all.
So you are saying the language that has not been used to your knowledge doesn’t work
But now the people that bargained this contract got a 12 month period instead of a five month opt in period to make it more possible.
Sounds like they were not asleep at the wheel, but more aware that half of the language that was supposed to fix the problem for guys that truely wanted a reduction of overtime —- not just a penalty pay check.
This is a positive step in making this language actually useful
