Please use a little common sense. The stock market is up --because companies have reduced jobs, cut cost --laid off people --they have "shrunk" to the poor economy ---You do not have to have a degree in economics to figure that out ----just look around you at UPS --see any changes ?? It must be nice to see all the imaginary new drivers UPS is hiring. Also hold on --breaking news ---wait until UPS calculates the increased cost of Obama care --???? More cuts to come --either more people or benefits !!

Finally someone who get's what is happenng. It amazes me how many people are still fooled by Obama and this administration. He is destroying the country almost on a daily basis. For all the union people that voted him in will figure this out when we get handed over on a silver platter to the government. Why would anyone in their right mind want total government control. If people do not realize that is happening they need to wake up.

He brought the stock market to a crippling low...He killed Las Vegas...He wants to raise costs on corporations who will in turn raise prices on goods and services. I do believe the recession is over, but not because of obama, but in spite of obama. The best thing this adm. did was the stress tests which we all knew what the outcome would be. Raise more capital or the failure of the whole system. The later would have been catastrophic. For my own selfish reasons I'm looking for another stabbing of Las Vegas. Ooops, is that racists?

The propping of the mortgage market makers Freddi an Fanni was the heart of the problem. He took the market to the lowest of the lows at about S&P 900 down. He never talked with confidence about our system. He kicked Vegas while it was down. That is the problem with liberals, never take responsibility for anything, only the blame of someone else. TARP, I always loved the idea of TARP...It was the single thing that saved our system. By the way, we have had 42 bank failures in 2010.

It's a well known fact, that if Unemployment is high, wages tend to stale or fall.
If the UPS contract was for renewal, I don't think you would expect much of a wage increase at the moment , either.
