Romneys real problem isnt santorum, gingrich or even OBAMA. His real problem is his disapproval numbers. This is what is really going to stand in his way of winning in 2012.
For example, lets look at some GOP history.
Back in 1996, the GOP nominated BOB DOLE as their candidate. Despite other candidates in the race, the GOP nominated DOLE despite him having a 29% DISAPPROVAL rating from GOP voters. When the election was over, DOLE was used like a wet mop by CLINTON and the floor was cleaned with him.
Today, ROMNEY is in a worst position. His latest DISAPPROVAL RATINGS among GOP voters is at 45%, waaaay higher than DOLES numbers at this time in the election cycle.
With disapproval ratings in the 40's nearing the 50's, ROMNEY will get SMOKED in the general election. Its even WORSE for Santorum and Gingrich, yet if you listen to anything on a FOX channel, the GOP is a shoe-in for a victory.
History disagrees with that.
Until Romney can get his disapproval ratings under 10% HE'S DOOMED!
