Monday Layoffs

I know a few high seniority drivers who specifically bid on routes that get cut on Mondays. Management lets them just not show up.

They aren't cover drivers though. They bid a route that gets cut... they knew what they were bidding and were ok with it. If its out it should be their call. Stay home or have sup find you a route to cover.
I however like the security of knowing my route is in everday, especially as sleepy/sloppy Joe continues to run our economy into the ground.

Here past precidence has been ask from the top on layoff force from the bottom up. Just heard that the other larger center in our area is going to straight force so it will probably change here as well.
