That's great advice right there..Although I already knew a lot of my initial training route, there were still some spots that I didn't know too well..So, on my own time, I went over the route in my personal vehicle, reread some manifest reports & used my map for help if needed.

Will do Brotha!! My stops went up by about 20 ish and I finished a little earlier so I think that's a sign of improvement

Screw that! I had an older driver give me that advice when I started. Now, lets see.....with gas at $3.50 a gallon, and my feee time being EXTREMELY valuable, why would I waste any of either one? If I learn at work, I'm burning up someone elses fuel and getting PAID to do it.

But if you need the knowledge, then it's up to you.

But seriously, if you're trying to make book, you do whatever you can to get there. It helped me tremendously when I was a new driver.
