I’ve seen what the company has done to long term mgt that have had a reputation of being hard ass and slave drivers…brown to the bone type people who have given their whole damn adult life to the company and make one mistake and they are out the door…no loyalty at all.

That was one thing that our local was worried about.. how many people the company has hired in the last 5 years…it’s actually a large number and if these newbees would cross the picket line if we walked.
The newbies do not like the two tier contract.
They're also unhappy with the company playing games and trying to lay as many people off as they can.
They won't cross, at least not here

Some of the young bucks are seriously into the union and that’s always nice to see that they care about their future.
The company can thank themselves for that.
