The company wants to starve at the bottom people will make them nervous
I know this. Doesn’t work, they always think they know how to manipulate but it just causes a stronger union mindset and pissed off employees. I see it first hand with both of our centers. One center manager treats the employees like people. The other treats them like dogs. Guess who is making better numbers and who is on the chopping block? Mind you the respectable manger was in the other center 2 years ago and ran it the same way. Same results

Having reasonable management makes a big difference.

Unfortunately there's too many old school supervisors that use the fear by management.

We don't have to be my best friend just treat me like a human being.

But if you think you're going to crap all over me I'm not going to bust my ass for you

You got it. Pretty simple but so hard for the power hungry ego management.

I would rather have it in the middle where management just doesn’t talk to me. Treat me like :censored2: and I’ll fight back, but I also don’t like the fake scripted management talk where they pretend to care and be your friend to try and manipulate you

Feeders is calling your name
Just the thought of feeders stresses me out. I have a lot of respect for the drivers, package cars and feeders. That’s a hard job.

Feeders is hard on the body too from sitting so much, gotta be tough on the mind too

Lack of human contact I would enjoy though lol

Sure, but you also have to be aware that you voted for a human, and latitude should be afforded. He had a gaffe, one time, and you're beating your drum to it. Look at the overall, he's held his line the whole time. If he affords an extension, you have your right to bitch. He can't force the company to put forth a LBFO, and until then, he can't tell us what the offer is. Until then, he can't reject their offer and put us out Aug 1. There hasn't been one handed over, hands are tied until Aug 1 and you're screaming about a single line stated on a single day, rather than taking the whole I to account. You do you, buddy.
Dude don’t get mad, I’m rooting for the guy don’t get me wrong, but I am going to hold him to his word. I want a historic contract and the money my government took from me through inflation on top of it or I’m voting no. If the company doesn’t like it then they can start donating more funds to the competitors of globalist politicians so this BS doesn’t happen again. And until then they can pay up. I believe originally I was just pointing out what I thought was a mistake on his part that sort of gave the company a glimpse into who he is as a negotiator. Which by the way was not the only time that happened. He gave in on the locals that were not finished yet as well. Then you started in saying I was full of :censored2:, it didn’t happen, and I didn’t know what I was talking about. We could have saved a lot of back and forth if you didn’t just blindly trust a politician thinking that he knows, or wants to follow the rules. So your right, you do you, and I never planned on stopping be me so..

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

My job is fun
Getting rid of the 22.4 jobs and give us an extra paid holiday with Martin Luther King Day I'm sure costs a lot of money

Yes everyone needs money to live on and raises are important but you also have to look at the benefits.

Little company pay enough money so we have free healthcare still?
Did they offered increase the pension?
Those are all very important
From what I read. No idea if it’s true but will cost the company $168 million a year to get rid of the 22.4

He took an unprecedented approach, completed 42 of 44 supps, reevaluated and rationalized the next steps; makes sense to me and still sounds was a win. God forbid someone do the adult thing, reassess a situation and adjust a plan from there. You wanna split hairs, go ahead, I'm more of a big picture guy. I'll offer latitude, this isn't a straight road, there're obstacles turns. This is nothing like Hoffa, no matter how loud you say it.
