6” of mulch you’ll have no weed problems
That much mulch seem excessive?

We have some beds of annuals, mostly begonia, zinnia, marigolds, and vinca. I plant, then use Baricade pre-emergence herbicide (prodiamine, same stuff as Preen, just stronger). I add a few inches of mulch on top, no weeds all season.

I just keep adding new every year to keep it at 6” the less chemicals the better

"The legislation includes phase-out eligibility based on income. So, once individual adjusted gross income reaches $100,000, or $200,000 for married couples, the deduction is reduced by $50 for every $1,000 in earnings above the threshold."

So a single UPS driver that made $130,000 gross. Would receive a $8,500 deduction. Tax savings of around $1800-1900.

Now they are saying phased out at $160k per person. Is that correct?

You may have a case of BDS.
He never mentioned Biden…..just highlighting Ole Donny’s character.
That's part of the binary hypnosis.

They believe we have to pick a side.

Right vs Left, Red vs Blue, Conservative or Liberal....

.....Up vs Down, On or Off, etc

Meanwhile they don't see what's right in front of their faces.

So looking at the House passed bill details is looking better than expected.

Eligible for up to $160K which covers us. Saw earlier reports of $100K cutoff which would suck.

Also looks to be no limitation on amount of OT hours. Earlier discussions suggested as low as only 3 eligible OT hrs a week.

One big thing to note though is that it's a deduction to be reported when filing. So not a weekly exemption. This will mean a sizable tax return. A welcomed thing since I haven't gotten a return in like 20 years.

We'll see what the Senate does.
