Hopefully, growth of the economy will make the debt increase moot. The Democrats only spend money without adding any growth to the private sector. But, we’re doomed either way.

They had a chance to take us a different route here.

I got taught a long time ago that it doesn’t matter how much money you earn. You’ll never be wealthy until you can control your spending.

If I’m seeing it correctly it’s up to $25ish K. So 20% of $25k is a savings of $5k in taxes each year?

Everything I see says the max deduction for tips is $25,000.

OT deduction is still $10,000 single or $20,000 married.

The problem with this statement, as I see it, is your metric in evaluating both parties is that you dwindle it down to bare bone economics! Unfortunately, that is just a small sliver of what makes a good political order that benefits the citizens of a nation.

I agree with you on most of what you said, I just believe the principles of the current democratic vs neoconservative/populist parties are not equally guilty across the board in the damage done to this country and if you’re moral compass cannot see that then I’m sorry my friend that’s sheer incredulity!
