Non-Season Hiring?

Been working the last few weeks as a driver helper. Think I've been able to get some good references since I busted my tail. About time to let me go since peak is about over. When do places normally start to hire non-seasonal? Like to start in preload but I'd take anything. I'm checking UPSjobs.com every day but maybe some insight would help my head.
