Does the planning look as good on a computer screen as it use to on paper?
Yup....that's the plan.I was in this morning to see everyone off. Did some observations, and grabbed some paperwork I could do at home. Have my laptop plugged into the network now working on some peak planning stuff.
8 hour day?
Honestly, the plans don't look too bad for drivers and local sort.Does the planning look as good on a computer screen as it use to on paper?
Yeah pretty much. A lot of certification stuff since I'm new in the position. Taking a lot of training modules online.Seriously I know FT sups have a lot of paper work but wtf is it?
I'm sure they make your job more
Complicated than it needs to be. Just like ours.
I told my wife my next 8 hour is the last til the new year. She's like you don't get any in December that's bs.8 hour day?
I figured she had to have considering she married you.I'm like we've been married 10 years. I've been driving 10 years. Did you bump your head?
Preload is the downfall. You can hire as many drivers as you want if the building isn't big enough to pump the volume through you're screwed.Honestly, the plans don't look too bad for drivers and local sort.
Preload on the other hand. Ouch.
Yup, they had to go and get anther car for the overflow from the last 3 sets of trucks on our line, "Its beginning to look a lot like ..."Honestly, the plans don't look too bad for drivers and local sort.
Preload on the other hand. Ouch.
And that's pretty much our problem. We're a one belt operation. There's only so much volume we can pump through that one belt.Preload is the downfall. You can hire as many drivers as you want if the building isn't big enough to pump the volume through you're screwed.
And I understand ups situation you're talking about a lot of money to upgrade a system for 1 month of work. And that's pretty much our problem. We're a one belt operation. There's only so much volume we can pump through that one belt.
If I can still see the back door....you can fit more!!
I love OT!Honestly, the plans don't look too bad for drivers and local sort.
Preload on the other hand. Ouch.
Probably waiting for you to leave.Damn it where's my ups man. I got tools coming today. Lol
Knock three times and say final attempt?Probably waiting for you to leave.
Knock three times and say final attempt?
Everything we have ordered has been DR'd even though we live in an apt.Knock? Or already have the delivery notice filled out to slap on your door without knocking?
On windy days like today the notice usually gets blown off the door anyway.
... I'm sure that's what happened.
