I dig the name!! I ran a restaurant for a while and we had many many names for monkey but... I did some research and found it is due to not whipping properly.

a young fella came to me having some chapped issues, I told em to go in the kitchen grab some corn starch take it in the bathroom and apply, the gromit used flour!!!he lasted another hour, never saw em again...(that's how u make bread)
