Obvious you were in management, Didn't know enough to not build on a flood plain.

I did not build, it was built in 1990
500 year flood came along.
We received 19 inches in less than 24 hours
Luckily, my house is 70 feet up overlooking the creek
the flood reached 19 feet above the bank
Washed out several bridges
Added 15 miles to my commute for 6 months
It also washed away my fishing deck
I had TV coax, electricity and running water
But then The Great Flood came along

I still have bonfires down there
but I close and lock the gate
in case the PoPo decides to investigate

I have a neighbor that offered to put it out for me once.
