I got that "smart ass" answer one time when I saw a 5 foot coal black snake slithering across a McDonalds parking lot in Iowa. I had never seen a snake like that so later on I asked some locals what kind of snake it was. One of them, serious as hell, looked at me and said "around here we call them black snakes".

That'd do it. They load them into containers and when they get to port they get unloaded, labeled, and sent out. Saves on shipping costs that way.

I have seen China do that too. They wait until they have enough to fill a shipping container before loading on a boat. It doesn't enter the package system until after it arrives in US.

Yep. That's why I always look at the country it's shipping from when buying on Amazon. The estimated delivery date could be sooner or later. You just never know.
