I use mine as an entertainment system on top of games. Netflix, Hulu, Vudu. It's great

She's been using her PS3 that she got a few years ago for that.

XBOX is good for that but not the best entertainment system option. A good secondary use though.

We have the Xbox in the living room and a FireTv in the bedroom, I can't see much of a difference. Heck there are apps on the Xbox I can't get on the FireTV

I really like it. The annoying part about it is the remote. Since it's bluetooth anytime it gets touched the channel changes. The dog loves to step on it and close out the show or movie we're watching.
