Yeah I know you never know what the future holds but my uncle is on the bank board and I know nothing is changing in the foreseeable future.

Could lending you a considerable amount of money be considered a conflict of interest?

My sister and I are financial and medical POA's for our step-father. We are also trust protectors for two trusts in his name. My wife keeps the books and writes the checks to cover his nursing home care.

Two banks are involved. Both were small local banks that have been swallowed up by much larger banks.

Can you say 'royal pain in the ass' when dealing with the changes?

I had a small local bank that was bought out by a big bank too. Definitely a pain in the ass.
