Thanksgiving week is much more coveted here.

This (2016) is the first year that it has been open here.

It seems to be at the company's whim of local managements I don't know. But my best friends dad is in either 705 or 710 and he's taken it off for the last 10 -15 years.


It honestly kind of sucks for me. It's considered 2015 vacation for my wife and 2016 for me. So she has 7 weeks of vacation to my 3 for the rest of 2016.

But we will get Monday off

If a holiday falls on a Saturday we get an extra days pay. If it falls on a Sunday, we get Monday off.
