The Scion ... never even heard of it. Introduced in 2013? I don't know how I missed it.

BRZ and FRS are a joint venture between Subaru and Toyota. Subie engine and transmission and rear wheel drive.

The WRX is still around. Based on the Impreza platform. I drove an Sti to auction Monday. Other than the offensively loud cat-back exhaust the previous owner put on it, it was a blast and a half.
