I had the engine cover fly off when I was on the Van Wyck once it slammed up against the bulk head door the dvir flew out, I had a freakin heart attack...

I have had some crazy ish like that happen as well, and I had my breaks completely go out on me , twice so far..........
The old trucks were famous for that. That you get a nice blast of dirt and engine heàt in your face.

Yes , it went staight to the floor, I had to use the e - brake. Thank god I wasn't on the highway , and both times was in an old pos stick shift , so I could downshift.....
If you do this job long enough, some crazy schittz will happen.
