I was a Krogers yesterday and some poor mom had a little girl (maybe 3 or so?) that kept getting loose and running around the store. She had another little boy in a stroller she was trying to watch too. I joked to her about that kid needs a leash. She said she used to have one of those harness leash things for when she took her kids hiking and other people who saw it would complain about how terrible the leash was. What if the kid got loose and hurt herself though?

There's no s old man it's Kroger.

This moms reasoning is purely selfish. She wants to sleep until 9-10 am.

I would of never ran away from my mom at that age because I had been disciplined enough to know better.

these are the kids who put their germy hands into those bins of trail mix and candy.....which is why I never buy that stuff.

Which is unreasonable to expect from young kids. They get up early, period. When my kids were young, as much as I may have hated it sometimes, I got up when they got up, until I knew they could be trusted to be up by themselves.

Lol yes i do, maybe too much at times... never more than 5 hrs at a time though...

Maybe they don't get out maybe they play with the stove and catch the house on fire.

That's why the parents should be up with them. It's a part of the responsibility of being a parent.

That kid was definitely grabbing stuff off shelves but at least it was sealed packaging.
