Honestly I get at least $500 back a year. I have different cards that I use for different things.

I just got 5000 points in January because I have had a card several years - with the note they were ending that yearly bonus. I still get normal points from purchases but fewer extras.

My Master card gives me 1& half % p
Back on everything. I can get a check or use it as a statement credit.

American express gives me 1% on everything
2% at the grocery store
3% on gas.

I use discover card for the 5% specials.
And when I don't use it for awhile.. They always give me a sweet deal.

I'm glad football is over so we aren't subjected to all that shuckin and jiving every time someone gains a yard or makes a tackle. That gets old REAL fast. The only display I enjoyed was when Cam did his "I'm going to laydown and cry" dance. He nailed that.

Snowing like a mother out there....just cracked a fresh one, fireplace blastin, got the surround sound system blasting and no one can tell me to turn it down, and a good movie never seen just started Life is good.

There has been very little snow here this year. Only a couple of times enough to shovel. That was mentioned at a church business meeting yesterday. We are paying a guy to plow nonexistent snow. Same guy also mows the grass so gets paid year round.
