That was one of the reasons. The other one was I don't feel I should have to provide those things for a truck belonging to a multimillion dollar company. :)
If I had gotten stuck as much as you I know for a fact my manager would buy me a shovel with his corporate card...he might even going to his own pocket to avoid a missed piece...lol

I mentioned to our big boss after I got stuck last time that I needed a shovel. I told him it's a lot cheaper to pay $20 for a shovel and a bag of sand than to pay $300 for a tow and however many hours are lost while I'm stuck. He's not too bright though. He bought pallets of bottled water instead. Lol.

Not a lot going on here. Wife instructed me to do a little housecleaning while she is at work today. We have company visiting this weekend. My daughter and her hubby. it's my daughter's Bday today as well.

My wife is leaving me (again) for 9 days. Sadly all my rowdy friends have settled down. ------then again I've been on some pretty good drunks by myself.---its always nice to meet new friends

The company is probably scared someone will get hurt then being on workman's comp throwing out a shoulder or something...
