I always got mine handed to me at work. UPS would also send a copy to the union but I'm not sure how those were sent.

It was never official until they saw you get it. Some were thrown out as untimely because UPS waited too long to do anything. Once I had one thrown out because center manager was on vacation. Not my problem.
