When the kids were young we brought them to Disney--- twice. We drove and stayed in the nearest city. Kids ate free at the hotel so we made sure to eat breakfast and dinner there. Our first time there we did just Disney while on our second trip we also did Universal and Nickelodeon. We had a lot of fun both times and didn't spend anywhere near $3K.

Really? I choose where I shop based on the quality of the produce, meats, and other producrs. For your information, there is another grocery store in town with a better beer tasting selection that I won't step foot in because their meat is crap and their produce is questionable. No sir. Last time I went to Disney ...they had just finished building the animal kingdom theme park ...my sis and BIL paid for me and my son to go..totally out of the blue....airline tics and whole shabang ....stayed right at the resort in the park...
