I got a letter in the mail today from Central States rescue plan. No real new information. Mostly just said their plan had been rejected and the plan will probably run out of money in 10 years or less. Also had a link and urged member to call their Congressmen for help saving the plan (after Congress screwed us over before). It also said IBT, AARP, and Pension Rights Center had all been against the plan.
It sounds like IBT and Central States are fighting each other over this. While retirees still get screwed.

I got the same letter. I'm sure within 6 months CS will come back and try something else. It is nice to get a little reprieve though. My wife is happy she don't have to go back to work
