You need to build a fence like this. Deer ticks and Lyme disease are a BIG problem on my route. People go to great lengths to keep deer off their property.

I stood next to that fence to see how tall it is. The wood rail running parallel to the ground are about 3 or four inches over my head.

Supposedly if they come on your property here you can use a crossbow on them. But I doubt you would ever see that in suburbia. Vehicles are the weapon of choice...
