I don't have very many financial obligations so I just find it easier to write the check and be done.

I only use checks for a few bills. Some places I like to get a written statement and mail a check. A box of checks probably last me a year though.

I use a credit card for almost everything and pay that bill online. I do like getting my utility bills in the mail because I like to see the details. I will mail a few other bills but not many or frequently.

Short of driving to the landlord's house and handing him a wad of cash I've never known another way possible to make rent payments besides mailing a check.
