I used to have a barber on my route. He would always give you a beer or two while you was waiting. I would go early on Saturday and get my haircut, if you went late in the day, the haircut wasn't as nice. Lol

There was also an Italian grocery store down the street. They were open for about 50 years but they sounded like they got off of the boat yesterday. Super nice people and absolutely delicious food.


For about 5 years I had a guy on my route who fixed tvs and radios. His workshop was his kitchen table. He had more work than he could handle. No matter what time of the day or evening you delivered to him he was always at that table and had a beer going.

I had a pickup on my old route that every Friday the four guys in the office would each have a beer on their desk when I went in around 4.
