I've got too many years in. It used to be a much better job at one time.

Used to think it would be a great job. When I got hired on permanently as a part-timer, the scales slowly began to fall from my eyes.

The harassment, the numbers, the useless management personnel whose job, in theory, is to makes things better but somehow only manage to make them worse.

I wouldn't be able to stand it.

Brownies...mmm

Never Underestimate the Power of a Woman
Gee -- I always assumed the garage was the guys territory. Tell him you are going to throw away all his crap and he will help you organize.
Lol, I am definitely different from most women. I grill, I put of the Christmas lights and I assemble anything that needs to be put together. Considering I didn't group up with my father I'm not sure how that happened.

I can still get out. I can't do better than teamcare, but I can sure as hell do better than $11.50/hr to get snarled at by managers with nothing better to do than yell at me...And for extremely physically demanding work.

You're a preloader?

Jkloc420

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
Almost everything but preload. Irregs, irreg trains, sort, unload, load (feeders), pickoff, charge, small sort, hazmat, and occasionally secondary sort.

I don't know how old you are but things take time. If you want more money go driving or drive air. The job isn't easy on your body.

Without teamcare, that still wouldn't be enough to keep me around. For what I do, I should get $22 straight time.
