Yep. I've seen a few on static display. It's incredible to stand next to them. Can't wait to see it moving under its own power.

There were some that were bigger, but they weren't successful by any meaningful definition. One that had 3 sets of cylinders burned through steam faster than the boiler could generate it. Had a maximum speed of 5mph because of this fact.
Impressive, but not surprising they were so quickly replaced by dieselelectrics. So much maintenance and lack of thermal efficiency.

The amount of water and coal/oil they go through is astonishing. And the maintenance, too, of course. Nevertheless, it is a shame there aren't more running. But I guess the fact that there are so few just makes it that much more of a treat to see or ride them when you can.
