My dad had cancer, i always thought him dying was better then suffering with it. Chemo is not a fun process and destroys your body. Different people think differently.

not really, death is a part of life and most people believe in some kind of heaven.
Nobody was making fun of cancer. Doikie is just an idiot and we have no respect for him. Be thankful to God he isn't a police officer in your town.I just read through the posts from last night, including the deleted ones, and I have to let you guys know I am disappointed by the ugly tone of the interactions here. A member shares that their father is dying of cancer and @Gumby @Boxslinger11 et al feel entitled to make snarky personal attacks about that? Why???
Your nasty personal attacks on the member whose father has cancer really disappointed and offended me. Your comments were intentionally hurtful and nasty. I had cancer a couple of years ago so maybe I'm more sensitive than the average person but there was no value in that wholeshow. I had no idea that kind of interaction went on in this thread. What a waste of bandwidth...

I watched my dad die from lung cancer, death was the best thing for him. He did not have to suffer anymore.

I dont like hearing the im sorrys or being treated different becase somebody is dying. Nor do I go around telling everyone so the pity party starts.

You most certainly were being super cruel about the dad's demise. @tonyexpress is reading through the deleted posts right now and he keeps reading me the most vicious ones. I don't read this thread very often but it last night is representative of the interactions here it's very disappointing to me. I assumed you guys were better than that and were just having fun here. I was wrong.
Who cares? The people I want to talk to, I know how to get a hold of them.
