You have to pet them the way their spines go, not against them. That little guy was very friendly and tame. From what I've heard not all of them are so nice.

4–7 years according to wikipedia. This little guy got passed along to one of her friends when our daughter found out she was pregnant a few months ago. She had him for quite a few years so I'm not sure if he's still around or not. Probably not.

Yep, he was born a few weeks ago. Had a medical emergency and surgery with a few days in children's hospital a week ago, he got through it all really well. The little guy is a trooper.
