Some coworkers of my wife's paid almost 20k in airfare to go to Australia.

18 hours on a plane for me? Never happen. I think the longest flight I've ever been on was NY to Las Vegas....maybe 5 1/2 i think.

Yeah I think that's about what Jamaica is for us (flight time) but there is always a layover I get antsy after a couple hours.

We drive all the time so I dont mind all that stuff to go 500 miles an hour. The seats sure are small though.

Get a seat by the exit over the wing, more leg room.

Those seats are usually the first to go. Against the bulkhead also gives you a little more room.

I've never been able to pay twice as much for a bit more legroom, and a "meal". Extra legroom seats are only about $15 more.
