I noticed this past winter that the UPS guy and Fedex Ground did the same thing.

As a matter of fact, I took this pic last week. The UPS guy left this package over a week ago at the mailbox. I guess the customer is out of town. They usually have a friendly, but scary acting German shepherd loose.
