I thought one of the commenters said it well. Take the kid to places like McDonalds and such to get them used to it first.

My daughter was like their baby. We were in a restaurant once and she was being loud talking (babbling and screaming) at anyone walking by. I asked for a doggie bag and we left. Not because she was being bad, but because I didn't think it fair for other diners to have to listen to it. JMO.
No. I don't want to hear it either.

@Brownslave688. We were just talking about this earlier today. As a future dad, what you do if this was your baby?

I would have offered the old hags husband outside to see if he sounded like me kid as I reigned blows and elbows onto his head and torso. Some people don't have babysitters or family and getting out of the house with youngsters can save your relationship. Tell that old bitch to mind her effing business is what woulda happened at a Jersey Diner!
