The last time I had a place that had Cyrillic writing on signs so I knew it was Russia but I guessed western Russia and was off by thousands of miles. It was in the middle of freaking Siberia. In the summer so mud instead of snow. Super seriously dirt poor that would make most third world countries look prosperous.
