How about when you need an air recovery and they send a message saying to "call such and such and arrange thx". How about no thanks, I'm a bit busy to stop and make phone calls. You're management. Handle it.

I'm pulling a set at the time. Messages came across but they're standard so I wait until rest stop to pull off and read them. I continue and then more msgs. Pull off at exit and read them. I continue and a red flag msg comes across so I pull over. Read the message and its standard non emergency bs. Between the three stops I've burned half an hour. I continue again and another message arrives. That when I pull over a last time and told sup to P off.
The next day they want to suspend me a day but I hade the AOT print up all the messages the night before so I present them to the steward and manager and start quoting safe driving drivel about distracted driving. So instead I get a warning letter for workplace violence, grieved, and I wad it up and toss it in the managers waste basket.
