Unless you have done the job, yes it is short sided and ignorant. Just like someone who's never been a PC driver saying its the same as a USPS mail carrier.

What about the techs and specialist positions that call themselves nurses because they wear the same uniforms and work in the same place. Is that the same as a AIR driver?
