I think they said that to me once I turned and looked at him and laughed and said you just go ahead and try. It's only for reg temps. But the company tries to abuse things all the time
It will help, but saying it will fix It is like a gamble with UPS.
Remember, the 22.4 was supposed to help regular package car drivers get less hours now they’re being forced six days. 22.4 is only working five.smh
Good question. I don’t see UPS ever budging, perhaps paying more money but not budging. What would we have to give up to get clear no six punch language outside of peak in the national?
Automatic double time would be a good startGood question. I don’t see UPS ever budging, perhaps paying more money but not budging.
Probably at that point they would no longer need to force they would get volunteersAutomatic double time would be a good start
Again, with the text to speechSarah is a freaking joke my friend.
A couple drivers text me yesterday morning what's up you're on call.
I told him you don't answer because there is no on call

Which would be ok…if it was always voluntaryProbably at that point they would no longer need to force they would get volunteers
Or maybe if they use the 22.4 drivers the correct way and quit advancing MondayWhich would be ok…if it was always voluntary
I tend to think 22.4 will go away but RPCDs will not have launguage that guarantees them Mon to Fri workweeks anymore. I think seven day a week service is inevitable. It makes sense from asset utilization standpoint why have all our package cars sit idle one or two days a week? Can move more packages with same equipment and facilities if operating every day just takes more drivers. Seven day a Week schedule is not that hard every airline in the world does it.Or maybe if they use the 22.4 drivers the correct way and quit advancing Monday
I'm still waiting for this cup of your master 5 days a weekI tend to think 22.4 will go away but RPCDs will not have launguage that guarantees them Mon to Fri workweeks anymore. Why does it have to be lifted during peak? Saturdays during peak are a joke. Come monday they cut routes and some people are sitting around an hour plus for pickups. I am all for no 6 punch period. What would we have to give up to get clear no six punch language outside of peak in the national?
