You are NOBODY, until you get fired!!
We will never know because he never fought it. The word around the building was he could have got his job back if he wanted it.We had a pkg delivery driver fired for this sort of thing on area. I don't know the exact details whether it was on the clock or not. He never came back....about a 5 year guy.
Which begs the question.....if you punch out(off the clock...) while doing such....can they really fire you? Say, you go home for lunch and do the wife.....eating lunch with her is ok...eating her isn't? Serious question.....So, is a customer off the clock(not in the vehicle) ok?
Example: stopping at a delivery stop(resi)(hell even a customers office), punching out, going inside and coming out 1 hour later.....serious question. Is there a difference in a gravel pit or home? Car?
At least once! You are NOBODY, until you get fired!!
I "saw" it happen years ago.Hit and runobviously. Never seen one. Takes a special kind of stupid to hit someone and drive away in a UPS truck while making $100k a year.
If this were true feeders wouldn’t have any driversAnother for sleeping in feeder truck and staying on clock.
Stealing, a cardinal sin.
Was the female driver good looking at least? Could she work a pole ?10 times more supes get fired. we lost 2 in one week for watching porn.on company computer. how stupid can you get?
One banged a female driver and just got transferred.

Fired was a term we used for someone who was basically suspended. You had to really break a cardinal rule to truly get fired. I knew guys that had been ‘fired’ multiple times. At least once!
Oh yea, Frankie beats it with a malletYou ever look at porn?
I mean no accounting for “stupid”. We had a rookie who had made book.. shortly thereafter was going to have a late NDA letter and didn’t want get in trouble so he threw it in a dumpster and reported it as “not found”.
Someone saw him throw it in and retrieved it and called ups. Of course telematics put the driver there at time of eyewitness account.
Yeah, he didn’t come back.
8.345%.Just curious if anyone has a decent guess at what percentage of drivers are fired at least once throughout their career? Including times when you get your job back.

Not a tier 3 but I know a guy that did a hit and run and was caught on camera looking at the damage. He got his job back.Tier 3 Hit and run does the trick
