Actually, AZ is on the hot list for Canucks now, but so is Cali and FL.
5 years ago, Canadians only had 11% of all US property owned by foreigners, now it's more than doubled to 23% and rising steady.
But we also love Mexico and Cuba, 95% of all winter tourists there are Canadians.

I'll be leaving once we hit the deep freeze for a few weeks :)

Amnesty calls on Canada to arrest Bush
Amnesty International called on Canadian authorities Wednesday to arrest and prosecute George W. Bush, saying the former US president authorized "torture" when he directed the US-led war on terror.
Bush is expected to attend an economic summit in Surrey in Canada's westernmost British Columbia province on October 20.

"Canada is required by its international obligations to arrest and prosecute former president Bush given his responsibility for crimes under international law including torture," Amnesty's Susan Lee said in a statement.

Bush canceled a visit to Switzerland in February, after facing similar public calls for his arrest.

AZ. home of the "desert spores"....no longer the clean air place where asthmatics used to flock. Stay away from CA. Remember, it sucks here and you'll probably get shot...don't risk it!
Florida is ok because it's a whole country away from CA.

I think Cuba is your best bet....maybe you could slip some of those stunning political ideas in a note to Fidel.

Oh, darn if he cancels again, they'll have to travel down to Tx to arrest him.
That in their case would be a suicide mission.

If Canada does arrest him, would they be responsible for holding the trial and all the additional costs involved ?
Like security, paying for the travel expenses of all the witnesses, and food ?

Probably ship him to the world courts, either Brussels or Amsterdam.
But, we could do the world a favour, and do the same as he did with Saddam, and hold the trail in Iraq ! ;)

"hold the trail in Iraq"
A trail (also track, byway) is a path with a rough beaten or dirt/stone surface used for travel.

Two of Canada's largest pension plans are teaming up to build a 30-storey office tower in downtown Toronto that will become the new national headquarters for the Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY).

Sunny Freeman, The Canadian Press, On Friday October 14, 2011, 12:49 pm EDT

By Sunny Freeman, The Canadian Press TORONTO - Canada's largest bank will establish a national headquarters for its Canadian banking operations at a flagship downtown Toronto tower being built by two of the country's largest pension plans.
The new Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY) headquarters, to be called RBC WaterPark Place, is a 50-50 joint venture between Oxford Properties Group, the real estate arm of OMERS, the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

Peter Ballon, CPPIB's head of real estate investments, Americas, said the development "provides us with the opportunity to add a major state-of-the-art office tower to our Canadian real estate portfolio with a premier tenant in place."
.
Oxford and CPPIB co-own a portfolio of office properties across Canada valued at approximately $3 billion, and are currently also developing 1021 West Hastings in Vancouver.

The CPPIB is a professional investment management organization that invests the funds not needed by the Canada Pension Plan to pay current benefits on behalf of 17 million Canadian contributors and beneficiaries. It invests in public equities, private equities, real estate, inflation-linked bonds, infrastructure and fixed income instruments. As of June 30, the CPP Fund totalled $153.2 billion.
