What is your position?I can't think of a scenario where a part timer has ever been placed on call, except covering Saturday air if the regular part timer calls in sick

Management can, and will, do whatever they want / whatever benefits them most, so long as no one calls them on it.

That being said, if you are a new hire / seasonal employee, they can do pretty much anything they want without repercussion.
