Now this morning's headlines surrounds the Chinese navy's growing numerical advantage over the US Navy . Not only in numbers but in weapons sophistication as well. Reports state that in the time it takes the US to build 1 ship....China can build 3. Seems like an lot of ships being built awfully fast if they're just for coastal defense purposes.

The question is, do you take the jobs offered(as in TN giving breaks), or do you tell people needing jobs that they'll just have to do without because you(the government) know what's best for them and you're not going to get companies to come in if you deem the jobs too low paying? As far as I'm concerned if local jobs are crap then move to where they pay better. That may mean higher living costs. Worse weather. People should individually weigh pros and cons instead of having government dictate how they'll live their lives.

The MIT living wage calculator says $12 an hour is a living wage there for someone with a roommate.

Their lowest paying job I'm seeing on Indeed.com is $15.50 and it says entry level in the job title.
