Palestinian-Israel Conflict (War?)

You might not be talking about driving the Jews out but Hamas, Hezbollah, and their patron Iran are. As for violating ceasefires this is how that goes: Hamas attacks, then calls for a ceasefire. Then Israel retaliates and Hamas cries foul. And the liberal professors in the West then go "see?see?!!!"
no its been israel overwhelmingly violating the ceasefires.

i havent heard anything about driving the jews out by them.

you cant get a union if govt helps the private sector in smashing it like reagan did.

workers are better off having a union than not statistically.

unions are likely on the decline because of govt policy including 2 red scares which smashed commies and socialists. notice the US communists reached their peak around same time US unions reached their peak.
It's legal to form a union in every state. But some states have laws that allow workers to work without joining an existing union. And companies are moving to those states because workers would rather have those companies come in and give them good jobs rather than working at McDonald's or Circle K. Do those companies offer all the bells and whistles that many unionized companies have? No. But it's the higher union pay and bells and whistles that drive many companies to relocate. Not many companies are in the position UPS is but even that's a balancing act. UPS pays well with good benefits because of the Teamsters. And they can't just uproot to a cheaper state, they're already there. But there are limits to just how much they can do. The union pushes them to those limits but it's a lucrative business. Many companies aren't in the position to offer that kind of pay and benefits so they have the choice of moving to right to work states or moving overseas. For sure some move overseas because they're greedy. But for most their overseas costs leave them with a decent profit. For those that remain in the States it's because there are advantages to that they can't get with an overseas location. Worth it to them. Notice that foreign manufacturers like Toyota have factories here to avoid high import fees and taxation. Where do they put those factories? If they didn't it wouldn't be worth it to them. Their cars would be too expensive and they'd lose this market. Before you assume things you have to learn what companies are up against. It's not some evil plot to keep labor down.

Again, Hamas attacks, calls for a ceasefire, Israel retaliates, Hamas claims the ceasefire was violated, and liberal professors who hate whites beating browns at anything start wailing. Same as it ever was, same as it ever was.

i doubt teamsters is pushing UPS to its limits - i suspect alot of corruption all around

corporations are enjoying record profits and they are are not even productively investing the money they got

yes there is an evil plot to keep labor down. warren buffet calls it class warfare that his class is winning.

i think companies are moving to those states because theyre more corrupt - weaker labor laws, weaker regulations, more corporate welfare

Maybe you should ask yourself why no one wants these people? Or do a deep dive into what Palestinians did to Lebanon.
nobody wanted the jews

btw, i am not an expert on the "nobody wants the palestinians" argument. so ill get back to you on that. hezbollah supports the palestinians btw.

uhh theyve been violently stealing land for a long time. before 1948
Uhh, no they haven't. The Jews annexed Gaza and the West Bank after they won the 1967 war and occupied those areas. Palestinians in what is now Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank outnumber Jews and they vastly outnumbered Jews pre 1948.

you got it backwards.
Nope, Hamas always calls for a ceasefire after they attack Israel. Israel isn't initiating attacks other than some violent settlers. The vast majority of the time it's retaliation for Hamas and Hezbollah attacks and is why the entire country is walled off now.

Of course you would think that. What a shock.

Fred's Myth

Nonhyphenated American
Just going to remind you that that is the wrong pronoun to use here.
You are not American.

As to your point, your largest argument has been to talk about the "open air prison" which you blamed Israel for.
Now you take a lukewarm approach to the other country doing that too.

Very much seems to be a double standard. You have a problem with Israel, and are just looking for reasons to dislike them.
Spoken like someone who doesn’t know what an American is.

Any citizen of North, South, or Central AMERICA is an American. Just because the United States co-opted the term doesn’t disqualify those who are entitled to the term.

Now I have to go wash my mouth out for having to defend @rickyb .

The natives called north america turtle island

Ive seen the signs at palestine protests and the idea of stolen land is not lost on us protrsters. it helps to explain what israel has done to palestine.

the whole concept of being a national of this or that country is ridiculous anyways. i could marry an american and live there, and move away, and move back, etc

We're the U.S. OF A. The United States OF America. So when someone asks which part of the Americas are you from? Argentina? No, Colombia? No, Mexico? I'm from the United States. More specifically I'm a Floridian-American. Not a Mexican-American.
