Not everyone was and is able to just leave. Maybe someone in their family is sick or infirm. Maybe they were threatened to stay and were paralyzed with fear. Maybe they didn’t want to say goodbye to their home forever and decided to stay and die or take their chances. It doesn’t mean that they support Hamas.

All this could end today if Hamas surrenders. Doubt that'll happen. Someone must have convinced them that Israel is a paper tiger that wouldn't see this war through. How anyone could commit the atrocities Hamas committed, say they intend to continue with similar attacks, and not expect hell fire to rain down on them must be seriously deluded.
