I deliver to some of the most rural parts of the state and have driven thousands of miles down some of the :censored2:tiest roads, and have never had an issue with packages getting damaged like this. Your husband is probably gaslighting you, or he's such a terrible driver that he should find another job anyway.
You management hack!

eats packages

Deranged lunatic
I don't care to see this phrased as a conspiracy. We appear to be currently living in a macroclimate where arbitrators might side with the company more. It has nothing to do with the concept of one specific person getting a paid meal beforehand. I think the yearslong deadlocks would have been better in this case.
Whatever really went on is just a day in the life of the UPS driver, you become what other people think of you. I can say this much. First bit of news I get about being fired like this, it goes straight to the local media. Then it goes to organizations and agitators for picketing. Then I blow my entire lifes savings in laywers just out of sheer spite.

They don't have to, drivers are really talented when it comes to digging their own holes.

How many truly innocent end up in front of a panel?

It's so easy to last 30 plus years at UPS. CYA and don't be stupid.
It does depend on what you’re talking about. There are innocent people who go to the panel, but the vast majority are Mercy cases.

Been on both sides of the panel, like the 1970's the labor guy and the Teamster guy go outside the meeting and work the deal out. I bet 1/3 of these actually get the chance to get in front of a panel. I'll give you this if you give me that.

Put cameras in there. Would make for great reality TV!

(Read in announcer voice mode) "Tonight on truTV, Job On The Line- Arbitration Time, with special celebrity panel guests, Cher, Emmanuel Lewis, David Lee Roth, José Canseco, and Wayne Knight.

LOL....good luck with that.

I know a guy that tried to take a small cassette recorder into his panel.
They saw it and stopped the meeting quickly.
The recorder was removed from the room.

Makes you wonder what both sides are hiding.....
