I have more than 3 yrs in total service. My original hire date was April 2021, which I worked as a part time Air Driver. On September 2022 ( FT seniority date) I qualified and got converted to 22.4 Combination Driver making around $21/hr. New Union contract kicked in August 2023 , all combos became RPCDs making $23/ hr. My issue in my center is that during my 3-yr tenure I'm still on a $25/hr progression while another RPCD less senior makes around $30 and another one almost within my seniority date makes the same as his. Both of them started as part timers too like me. Shouldn't I be getting that pay bump as well or am I on the correct progression? Sucks having to work everyday thinking I might not be getting paid as should especially with the newly hired Reg-Temp drivers in our center making upper $30s too.

I think you're making what you should be making, according to the contract (without knowing your actual FT seniority date).
PT hire date really does not matter after you changed classification and went FT. Vacation weeks should be based on your PT date.

If you still aren't satisfied, ask your SUP to put in a payroll inquiry. They will sort it out and provide explanation.

As for your coworkers pay...it's really not any of your business.

You just started the second year of your progression. You have two more years to hit top rate

Regtemp is not the same classification as you and their pay has nothing to do with your pay. Regtemp is a seasonal driving job that a seniority part timer can do. Yes a regtemp makes a higher hourly wage than you do right now but after peak ends they will be going back to preload or wherever they came from. They also only get part time pension credit and are not entitled to a 40 hour work week, 8 hour requests, or 9.5 protection and can be forced to work 6 days a week. You are a full time seniority employee and you are much closer to making top rate than any of these regtemps are. Just keep your head down and stay the course. It will all be worth it soon enough!

Maybe it's different every where
But right temps go through the same progression does full-time drivers do.
At least here that's how it works

Honestly I didn't know they were called regtemps anywhere other than the Atlantic. But yeah you're right it's supplemental language so it's gonna be different if OP isn't in my region.

They go through the same progression as a full timer except they are classified as part-time.

It helps the company out a lot because they're not getting the full-time pension money

Here they start at 75% of top rate. They're technically in the driver progression but all the steps of progression are less than their starting rate. If they did 4 years they would be at top rate.

Talk to a union rep and file a grievance if your pay isn't where it should be
