Somehow a number of people have made a moral equivalency between fleeing authority and death. Death is not an appropriate penalty for the crime of disobeying authority.

Agreed, but answer me this. If you aren't guilty of anything, WHY IN THE HELL DO YOU RUN FROM THE COPS??!!

No one said they weren't guilty of something. In the SC case he was guilty of having a burnt out brake light and being behind on child support. He probably would have gone to jail for the child support.

OH!!!!! I get it. Accidentally shooting someone with a gun (when he thought it was a taser) is brutality. Gotcha!
No, in that case it appears to be 2nd degree manslaughter.

Hmm, then in BOTH cases, DON'T BREAK THE LAW!!!!!!

Tail light out and back child support.

Trying to sell an illegal gun to a UC.

It all comes back to the individuals. Stop breaking laws and running from cops. Dingbats

So death on the spot is the appropriate punishment? That seems to be what you are saying.

No, it's not what I'm saying. I'm saying don't run from the cops. If you've broken the law, man up and accept your punishment. If you run, odds are the cops are going to think you're up to no good, and if they haven't frisked you, how do they know you're not armed?
