I never considered bigotry the same as collectivism.

Why not?

I saw 4 news stories on the news about criminal acts and in all 4 cases the perps were black.

Therefore only blacks commit crimes and thus being no whites where shown as perps, whites never commit crime.

Sounds pretty collectivist to me!

One of the fringe benefits of having a concealed handgun permit (in my state at least) is that the information is attached to your DMV records, so if you get pulled over the police will be informed that you have one when they call in the plates on your car or your drivers license. This immediately tells the officer that you have no criminal record and that you have voluntarily undergone and passed an extensive background check and have no warrants or restraining orders against you. To my knowledge there has never been a single recorded instance of a police officer being assaulted by a person with a carry permit, a fact which most cops are very well aware of.

That article is full of errors and anti gun bias. For example Zimmerman never invoked stand your ground and a trial proved him not guilty anyway.

Actually with a wife and two young kids in the car.

The ironic part is that the time I had saved by speeding was spent on the side of I-95 while the "good ole boy" took his sweet ass time writing the ticket. I half expected him to tell me to go to the local courthouse to pay the fine to the judge, who just happened to be his brother.
